Spam Filters in Cloud Website Hosting
Our cloud website hosting servers employ one of the best spam filters out there. It’s called SpamAssassin and is available with every hosting plan, so if you host your domain names with us, you can choose one of the 5 protection levels that the spam filter offers for any email account that you have here. You can do this with only 2 clicks from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel that is used to manage all hosting accounts. SpamAssassin checks the header section and the body of each email message, calculates a spam score and then proceeds on the basis of the level that you have opted for. Each email account can have a different setting and you can select whether the email messages that the anti-spam filter flags as spam should be deleted or forwarded to a separate email account where you can check them at a later point in time, so as to avoid erasing a legitimate message. Switching to some other level or deactivating the anti-spam protection is also incredibly easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use a semi-dedicated server plan from our company and if you set up one or more email addresses with any of the domain names hosted in the account, you will be able to activate the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin email filter that we provide and keep all unwanted emails away from your inbox. This option is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and it can be activated or deactivated for any email account whenever you wish. You can also configure the safety level with a few clicks if unsolicited bulk messages continue to appear in your mailbox or the anti-spam filter starts deleting authentic email messages. Since you can choose if the spam should be deleted instantly or re-sent to some other email address, you can create spam@domain.com, for example, and check all filtered email messages there, so as to make sure that you will not omit a message that you need. The messages that the anti-spam filter permits to go through will still appear in your inbox.
